Fall 2025 High Point Market

Nostalgia Panel

At Fall High Point Market, The Lifestyle Historian joined Jaye Anna Mize of Future Snoops, Linda Kafka of the NeuroDesign Academy, and Allison Zisko with Home Accents Today for a conversation on one of the most influential movements in design today: nostalgia. Together, the panel explored how memory, story, and sensory detail shape the spaces we create and why clients are increasingly drawn to environments that feel meaningful, familiar, and emotionally grounding.

As the historical storyteller on the panel, The Lifestyle Historian offered perspective on how understanding the past brings clarity and depth to modern design decisions. The discussion highlighted nostalgia as both inspiration and a practical design tool, helping designers uncover client stories and create spaces that resonate across generations.
